In Part 1, we looked at some inspiring articles, photoshoots, and even a guide to making Hermès pickled vegetables. Hermès pickled vegetables might just be the most unexpected yet perfectly on-brand thing ever. Of course, they’re not just any pickled vegetables. They have that je ne sais quoi that makes even something as simple as pickling feel effortlessly chic. It’s the kind of detail that is a reminder that Hermès isn’t just about luxury bags and scarves but about bringing beauty into every part of life, even down to the contents of your pantry. It’s the little things, right?
But enough about pickled vegetables.
Today, we’re focusing on what Hermès is outwardly known for and probably the reason most of us are here and that is the bags and accessories. And here’s the thing: not all Hermes items appreciate in value and there are so many gems in this issue that can be scored on the resale market. I’ve even included some links with the photos. Happy Saturday morning reading, browsing or even shopping!
The Hermès Cabag is an interesting find because, while canvas or toile can command high prices on the resale market, this bag tends to go for much less because of its lesser-known status. It still features beautiful leather details, adding another classic Hermès touch. Like the Herbag, recently reissued in a mini style, it has the same support bar at the top, giving it a structured, polished look.
Hermès vintage belts are always something I love looking for a second hand. It’s very easy to find them within the $200-$500 range, which is considerably less than retail. Additionally the leather is always gorgeous and they are styles that don’t feel so off the rack. Plus the quality has already proven itself for years.

What is more chic than an Hermès desk accessory? This one, which is actually a magnifying glass, is gorgeous and I’ve found 3 of them ranging from $300-$800. And if you’d rather wear this eye as a necklace, it was also released as a Curiosite charm linked below too.

If you’re interested in exotics, one of the least expensive on the resale market is lizard. It isn’t as noticeable for bags because exotics are all very pricy, but definitely small leather goods (SLG) and jewelry. Ombre leather, as seen above, can tend to yellow over the years, but if it’s paired with gold hardware it really plays off the color change. I’ve linked some jewelry and accessories below that are just about at the same price point as their non-exotic counterparts.

Happy shopping! And for more shopping, I’ve also added three scarves to an auction on my site if you’re interested in an Hermès scarf auction here.

Wait I’m obsessed with pickling veggies (spring fever and ready to get my garden in). Where is the pickled veggies recipe? Did i miss it in your last post?
